Eligibility Criteria
- Student in top 1% of Class 12 board exam at the state level
- Pursuing BSc/BS/Integrated MSc in natural sciences at a recognized Indian institution
- Age 17–22 years at the time of application
- Indian citizen
- Must have taken admission in eligible science courses (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Statistics, Geology, etc.)

- No separate entrance exam — based on Class 12 board exam performance
- Class 12 board syllabus: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and/or Biology (NCERT)
- Top 1% percentile cutoff at the state board level (typically 95%+)
- College admission: based on merit cut-offs at recognized science institutions
- Annual scholarship renewal requires minimum 60% in university exams
